GTSport Racing to Compete at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Marietta, GA (June 13, 2014) -  GTSport Racing’s Jack Baldwin is set to compete in the Brickyard Vintage Racing Invitational June 15 – 19 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Brickyard Vintage Racing Invitational is a great event that features over 500 vintage racecars and honors the 100th running of the Indy 500 by showcasing a large variety of cars and motorsports legends.

“I am very excited to race our Porsche Cayman S at Indianapolis,” said Baldwin. “In all of my years of racing I have never ran at Indy so when I was invited to compete in this event I knew I had to make it happen. SVRA events are very well run and I always have a great time, this weekend should be no different and I am ready to get back in the car and have some fun.”

Baldwin will race his famous No. 73 Umphrey’s McGee Porsche Cayman S in Group 10 beginning on Thursday, June 16 with two practice sessions at 11:10 AM and 4:35 PM.  Qualifying takes place on Friday, June 17 at 9:20 AM and 3:30 PM.

Racing begins on Saturday, June 18 with a sprint race at 10:25 AM. The final race of the weekend goes green on Sunday, June 19 at 3:45 PM.
