GTSport Racing in Action at Road Atlanta
Cumming, GA - April 1, 2016 - GTSport Racing returns to action at Road Atlanta this weekend for the inagural Porsche Club of America (PCA) Cayman GT4 Clubsport Race Series event. Jack Baldwin will be behind the wheel of the No. 73 Umphrey's McGee Porsche Cayman S formally campaigned in Pirelli World Challenge competition.
The PCA event is a monumenous event for Porsche racers and enthusiasts as the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport is the first Porsche factory race car that was not based on the 911 platform.
"I am really excited to be on track this weekend," said Baldwin. "GTSport Racing has been a strong believer that the Porsche Cayman was a brilliant race car for many years and we put in a lot of hard work to prove that in the professional arena. When the GT4 was announced it was really special but to have a one-make series where the car can compete is really cool. I hope that I have some fun this weekend and hopefully win!"
Look out for the No. 73 car in Race Group 3. Sprint races take place Saturday, April 2 at 11:30 PM - 12:05 PM and 3:20 PM - 4:00 PM. The weekend ends with an enduro on Sunday, April 3 at 8:20 AM.
